In 1976, in Vathalagundu, on Pillaimar Street, this printing business was started by my father, Mr. Veerapathiran, the founder. It was established as the third printing press in the town under the name Ganesan Press, using a treadle printing machine.
At that time, my father skillfully printed everything in single-color format, from wedding invitations to bill books and notices.
I began learning the printing trade at the age of 12, working alongside my father and my brothers. By the time I finished school in 1992, I had learned the traditional art of typesetting using lead letters, arranging each letter by hand. With my father’s guidance, I learned the printing business completely. Even today, he remains my guru and mentor in this profession. Between 1994 and 1996, I stayed in Sivakasi to learn multi-color printing techniques. I also learned how to produce calendars, diaries, books, and school notebooks.
In the early 2000s, we became the first printing company in Vathalagundu to offer all types of multi-color printing, including daily and monthly calendars. Over time, we built a strong customer base across South Tamil Nadu.
In 2000, we expanded our business to Kodaikanal. At that time, most hotels and businesses there used only single-color treadle machine printing. We introduced the modern trend of multi-color printing, bringing a new style and quality to the region.
In 2004, we bought our own computer and started designing. we bought our own computer and started designing. when flex banner printing became a big trend in the printing industry, we learned this new technology in Madurai, Chennai, and Bengaluru. We added this service to our business and renamed our company Sri Ganesh Printers.
We invested in more computers and printing machines, learned to design and type content digitally, and created multi-color designs. We then took our business to the next level by offering printing through offset machines and flex banner machines using outsourcing methods.
In 2005, we started a separate business in Sivakasi (Viswanatham) under the name Sri Annai Traders, focusing only on the production of daily and monthly calendars and diaries. Even today, this unit operates successfully during the calendar season. We continue to introduce new and updated calendar designs every year, and our collections are available up to the 2026 editions. We strongly believe that change is the only constant.
In 2007, we expanded further in Vathalagundu by purchasing an offset printing machine and additional computers. We also increased our team to 7–10 employees. which helped us grow our printing services even more.
In the year 2008, we started our new branch on Anna Salai, the main central area of Kodaikanal town. We take pride in being the first to establish a large-scale printing office in Kodaikanal. Up to the year 2026, this office has been functioning successfully and efficiently for the past 18 years.
In 2010, we purchased our own flex printing machine in Vathalagundu and combined it with our offset printing press. Since then, we have proudly remained the only company in Vathalagundu and Kodaikanal offering both offset printing and flex printing under one roof.
Continuing our growth, in 2014, we introduced an instant multi-color digital printing machine. This allowed us to provide immediate multi-color prints on boards, stickers, and art paper up to a size of 12 inches × 45 inches.
As the next milestone, in 2015, when LED boards began gaining popularity in the printing and advertising industry, we quickly learned the technology and added it to our services. We successfully started designing and producing LED sign boards.
In 2017, we enhanced our Kodaikanal branch by introducing advanced Flex Printing, Digital Colour Printing, and modern Die-Cutting machines Customized shapes for Visiting Cards, Invitation, Menucards, Certificates, Labels, A3+Stickers. Especially introduced School notebook Name Labels with student photo's and school name. This upgrade allows us to deliver customized printing solutions quickly, even for single-piece orders. To further serve our customers better, we also expanded our offerings to include a wide range of Gifts and Awards, making our office a one-stop destination for complete printing and branding needs.
In 2021, we launched Sri Ganesh Advertisements, a dedicated company focused onadvertising services. We introduced a special advertising vehicle equipped with flexbanners, speakers, and microphone facilities for promotional campaigns.
We also manufacture eco-friendly traffic sign boards such as No Parking, No Entry, and Parking boards. These are installed using iron frames and pipes in approved locations that do not disturb traffic. All installations are done with proper municipal and traffic police permission, and we display advertisements for clients along with these boards.
In 2023, we reached another milestone in flex printing by introducing a 6-color eco-friendly inkjet printing machine at our Kodaikanal branch.
We also introduced UV Direct Printing Technology, which allows us to print directly on materials such as acrylic sheets, foam sheets, ACP sheets, sunpack sheets, star flex, and backlight boards. This modern technology helps us deliver high-quality and long-lasting prints on a wide range of surfaces.
We create LED photo frames in all sizes with built-in lighting. Customers can choose to frame: Family photos, Photos of loved ones, Images of deities.
We also offer 3D and 5D photo printing, which can be beautifully combined with LED lighting frames.
As a new addition, we design personalized daily calendars featuring family photos along with a photo frame design.
From 2023 onwards, we started garment production and printing services. We manufacture and print on: T-shirts, Sports jerseys, Sweaters, Hoodies.
We accept even small quantity orders such as 25, 50, 100, or 200 pieces. Printing options include: Screen printing, Digital printing, Embroidery printing.

In 2026, after completing 50 years in the printing industry, we stepped into the next stage of growth by launching online designing services. Using professional tools with access to millions of high-quality design templates, we now create world-class designs for everything from visiting cards to flex banners.
These designs can be printed with us or used directly for social media promotions.
We have expanded into modern digital solutions, including: Digital marketing design, AI-based design services, AI audio creation, AI video creation, AI animation.
We design promotional content for: WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Telegram. We also create: Digital invitations with audio & video animation, Website designing, App development.
